Top News and Magazines Apps in Brazil Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the top five news and magazine applications on the unified platform in Brazil showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $37.4K in mid-February. Weekly downloads were highest in the last week of March at around 161K, while active users fluctuated, reaching about 15.2M by the end of the quarter.

O Trabalhador experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 61.2K in mid-March. Active users also rose, reaching approximately 115K in the same period.

Notícias Locais recorded a modest increase in weekly revenue, with a high of $91 in late March. Downloads peaked at 44.7K in mid-March, while active users increased to about 909K by the quarter's end.

Consulta Benefício had a notable decline in weekly downloads, dropping to 4.7K by the end of March. Active users, however, showed a recovery towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 79K.

Finally, Consulta Bolsa Família maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight peak at 11.7K in early February. Active users saw an increase, peaking at about 53.5K in early March.
